These plugins and themes cause issues for WPAPI. Consider turning them off or decreasing their workload (like list of pinged sites).

  • Pingler - http://pingler.com/pingler-wordpress-plugin.php - causes posting delays that make WPAPI timeout. Even if posting works, the WP blog blocks after the post and never returns the Post ID, maybe due to a massive list of sites it has to ping. (Noticed issue on client server.)
